1. Purpose
This document outlines the Participant Consent and Risk Acknowledgement policy for activities operated by Rushme Trill Treks Pvt Ltd. By registering for and participating in our treks, tours, and outdoor experiences, each participant acknowledges the inherent risks associated with adventure travel and voluntarily consents to participate under the conditions described herein.
2. Consent to Participate
2.1 By booking a tour or trek with us, participants confirm that they:
- Have read and understood this policy in its entirety
- Are voluntarily participating in the chosen activity
- Are legally competent and of sound mind (18+ or accompanied by a guardian)
2.2 Participants are encouraged to ask questions and request clarifications before the trek date.
3. Physical and Medical Fitness
3.1 Participants affirm that they are physically and mentally fit for the chosen activity and capable of walking/trekking in varying terrain, weather, and altitudes.
3.2 Participants must:
- Disclose any chronic illnesses, allergies, physical limitations, or medical conditions at the time of registration
- Carry their personal prescribed medication and emergency medical kit
- Notify the trip leader immediately in case of discomfort or injury
3.3 Rushme Trill Treks reserves the right to deny participation if a guide/leader determines that a participant is medically unfit for safety.
4. Acknowledgement of Inherent Risks
4.1 Adventure travel involves unpredictable elements, including but not limited to:
- Rough terrains, dense forests, water bodies, wildlife encounters
- Altitude changes, physical exertion, slips/falls, sun exposure
- Delays due to weather, landslides, roadblocks, or civil disturbances
4.2 Participants understand and accept the potential for:
- Minor or major injuries, temporary or permanent disability
- Property loss, dehydration, or limited access to medical care
4.3 Rushme Trill Treks will take all reasonable precautions but cannot eliminate these risks entirely.
5. Voluntary Assumption of Risk
5.1 By proceeding with the trip, participants:
- Accept full responsibility for any injury, loss, or damage incurred during the activity
- Agree that participation is entirely voluntary and at their own risk
- Waive any right to claim damages from Rushme Trill Treks Pvt Ltd, its directors, team members, vendors, or guides, except in cases of proven gross negligence
6. Emergency Protocol & Medical Support
6.1 Trip leaders are trained in basic first aid and emergency protocols.
6.2 Emergency medical support or evacuation may not always be immediately available. Participants agree to:
- Follow all instructions from the leader
- Contribute to group safety, especially in remote regions
- Share real-time feedback on any health issue
7. Parent/Guardian Consent (if applicable)
7.1 For participants under 18, a parent or legal guardian must sign a waiver and accompany the child during the trip.
7.2 The guardian is responsible for the child’s behavior and safety throughout the experience.
8. Final Declaration
I, the participant, declare that:
- I have read and understood this Risk Acknowledgement & Consent Policy
- I accept the potential hazards associated with adventure travel
- I will not hold Rushme Trill Treks Pvt Ltd liable for outcomes reasonably related to the risks disclosed herein
This document will be acknowledged digitally or physically prior to trip commencement. Legal jurisdiction resides in Goa, India.
